Day 61 - Battle of Britain
"When the residents of East London emerged from their shelters this morning - those that had access to them - Churchill must have been profoundly relieved that the prevailing mood was one of stoicism and weary resignation. With rescue workers still clawing away at the wreckage, the mood could have been so much uglier."
Thus reads the first paragraph of my latest post on the Battle of Britain. This is the 61st post of my daily account - which has to be a personal record for one subject - with over 200 photographs posted. Only 53 more posts to do.
