After 22 hours non-stop travelling, we got there in one piece. To say the last leg in Aspen was "hairy" is perhaps to overcook it, but the approach is not for the faint-hearted.
Unfortunately, the flight was late and it was nearly dark as we approached, with the wing-tips seemingly skimming the mountains (on which there was indeed snow). Thus, the photos I took, barring this one, are too poor quality to put up.
Anyhow, Booker and I arrived safety and I will try to do a proper blog tomorrow (today?) when we've had some sleep.
