The forum will be off-line for a few hours while we carry out an upgrade and enhance the security (I hope).
Currently, we are getting an average of 20 spam applicants a day, seeking to place adverts on the site, ranging from financial services to hard porn and, of course, viagra. If there was any possibility of restoring the death penalty, I would be happy to include spamming on the list of capital crimes.
UPDATE: Forum back on line - the update didn't work. We'll have another go tomorrow.
UPDATE: Update partially completed - a few problems ... like I cannot log on to my own ****ing forum. Hence new posts not put up on the forum. We will attempt to resolve this problem. (Now fixed.)
