A great idea

One of my favourite blogs is Libertas, which describes itself as "a forum for conservative thought on film". It is edited by Jason Appuzzo, who is co-founder and co-director of the Liberty Film Festival as well as a contributor, together with his wife Govindini Murty, to various magazines, TV programmes and websites on film and politics. Mr Appuzzo loves film and despises Hollywood nutcakes (while acknowledging their achievements, should they exist) in about equal measures.

He has just come up with a wonderful idea in response to the usual Hollywood celeb campaigning about the environment (which they usually do while flying round the country on private aeroplanes):
Here’s a suggestion: hiking taxes on Hollywood studios, to cut down on culture pollution. Earth is in the balance.
I don't usually support any idea that involves new taxation but am prepared to make an exception here. By the way, don't you just love Julia Roberts's spectacles, donned to make her real, serious and intellectual?
