According to the Telegraph today, Denis MacShame is looking at the possibility of sending out paperback versions of the EU constitution to 30 million households
MacShame said sending out copies could combat the "myths" of campaigners seeking a "no" vote in the referendum. "Like many by-laws and Acts of Parliament, it's not an automatic page-turner," he said. "But if it's well indexed people can see for themselves that the Queen will not be toppled, that we will not lose our seat on the UN Security Council and so on."
One does not wish to dissuade McShame but hadn’t he better consult the postpersons first? At 835 pages per copy, including protocols and declarations, they might be a bit reluctant to help out.
