They shoot greenies, don't they?
Truly these days, writes Booker, in more ways than one, are we moving towards a new dark age.
Thus does he echo our own pessimism, although he does offer a certain note of optimism. Fortunately, his column concludes, the latest available data show the downward trend in global temperatures continuing. At least the one thing we don't need to worry about, it seems, is global warming.
Our problem is that it does not make one whit of difference to the warmist creed. The mad march of greenery continues unabated, with Dominic Lawson telling us that the achingly fashionable and well-intentioned plan to create "millions of new green jobs" could end up making the global economy even sicker than it is already.
In the end, there are going to be two groups of people in this world: the greenies and the people who shoot greenies. It's kill or be killed, and the greenies will be the death of us all if this madness continues.
